Like in other parts of Canada all major cities are in the southern half of the Provinces. Edmonton is Canada's northern most major city (excluding the northern territories.) The British Colombian cities of Vancouver, Richmond, Surrey and Abbotsford make south-western British Columbia the most densely populated area outside of the Greater Toronto Area.
